The Snoqualmie Valley Girls’ Choir is a non-profit group operating since 2002 as a local community arts presence.  All girls ages 9 to 16 are encouraged to participate in learning quality, choral music in an environment that supports self esteem building, musical growth, and lasting friendships with other girls. 

SVGC is an entry-level choir, although in some cases the director may suggest a young applicant wait to join for physical vocal maturity concerns.  In most cases, auditions are simply an interview, one-on-one with the director, to determine skill level and to fit voice part for our 3 part music.  Applicant will be asked to sing a series of warm-up's to determine vocal range and timbre, to sight-sing a short excerpt of typical choral music selected for the group, and to perform a song prepared in advance, if applicable.
